5 more horses positive for EHV-1 in CA

Thehorse.com reported today 1/4/07, “Five more horses from trainer Lloyd Mason’s barn at Golden Gate Fields have tested positive for a neurogenic strain of equine herpesvirus-1 (EHV-1).” None of these horses are symptomatic. One horse recently returned from Santa Anita race track. Additional testing is being conducted at the So. California track.
